Chapter 2: Hardware Installation

Overview

Your N2200 is designed for easy installation. To help you get started, the following
chapter will help you quickly get your N2200 up and running. Please read it carefully
to prevent damaging your unit during installation.

Before You Begin

Before you begin, be sure to take the following precautions:
1. Read and understand the Safety Warnings outlined in the beginning of the
manual.
2. If possible, wear an anti-static wrist strap during installation to prevent static
discharge from damaging the sensitive electronic components on the N2200.
3. Be careful not to use magnetized screwdrivers around the N2200's electronic
components.

Hard Disk Installation

The N2200 supports both 2.5" and 3.5" Serial ATA (SATA) hard disks. To install a
hard disk into the N2200, follow the steps below:
1. Open front cover of the N2200.
2. For 3.5" HDDs
a. Remove an HDD tray and install a 3.5" SATA hard disk onto it.
b. Slide the HDD tray back into the N2200 until it snaps into place.
3. For 2.5" HDDs
a. Remove an HDD tray and install a 2.5" SATA hard disk onto it.
b. Slide the HDD tray back into the N2200 until it snaps into place.
