Turning on the Bluetooth CHS
Press and hold the small power button for 3 seconds, until the LED
turns blue and the scanner beeps twice (low- high).

Bluetooth CHS is connected and ready to
scan.
Windows 7/Vista/XP only. SocketScan is
ready for the Bluetooth CHS to connect
to the computer with ActivePairing.

Inserting the Batteries:
Use a coin or screwdriver to unlock
and remove the battery cover. To
unlock, turn the lock underneath
the scanner to a horizontal
position. Install the battery/
batteries as indicated by the +/-
symbols. Replace the battery cover
and turn the lock to a vertical
position.
Do not use alkaline batteries,
which may damage the device.
Attaching the Tether:
After removing the battery cover,
wrap the string loop of the tether
around the inside part of the lock.
Replace the battery cover. If
desired, attach the tether to a
lanyard or belt.
Touch Screen Stylus:
Use the stylus tip on Pocket PC and
other device touch screens. Do not
use the stylus if damaged, as it
may scratch the screen. The stylus
does not work on tablets with
Active Matrix displays.
