    ARS.2 PAGE 8 OWNER'S MANUAL SYSTEM OPERATIONS LOCK/ ARM ALARM Press and release the Lock Button to lock the vehicle’s doors (if door locks are connected). The park lights will flash once and the siren/horn will honk/chirp once. The LED’s on the antenna will begin to flash (Programmable).

    ARS.2 PAGE 9 OWNER'S MANUAL SYSTEM OPERATIONS REMOTE START Press and hold the Start Button for 3 seconds to activate the remote start. The park lights will flash once and the siren/horn will honk/chirp once, then the vehicle will start. Once the vehicle is started the siren/horn will honk/chirp once and park lights will stay on solid.

    ARS.2 PAGE 10 OWNER'S MANUAL SYSTEM OPERATIONS TURBO TIMER MODE Some turbo vehicles require a cool down before shutting off the vehicle. While the vehicle is running by key, press and release the Trunk Button. The doors will unlock, the park lights will turn on and the siren/horn will honk/chirp once.

    ARS.2 PAGE 11 OWNER'S MANUAL SYSTEM OPERATIONS CAR FINDER Car finder mode can be used to locate your vehicle in a crowded parking lot. Press and hold the Unlock and Trunk Buttons together for 3 seconds. The park lights five times and the siren/horn will honk/chirp five times.

    ARS.2 PAGE 12 OWNER'S MANUAL SYSTEM OPERATIONS SERVICE/VALET MODE This feature will disable the remote start and security features of the system. When in Service/ Valet Mode the Lock, Unlock, and Trunk features will still work. The system MUST be put into Service/ Valet Mode whenever any work is to be done on the vehicle, or if parked in any enclosed/ partially enclosed area.

    ARS.2 PAGE 13 OWNER'S MANUAL SYSTEM OPERATIONS COLD START MODE Cold Start Mode will start the vehicle at a user selectable start cycle or temperature. If the 4 hour start cycle was selected, the vehicle will start the vehicle when the temperature reaches -13F/ -25C.

    ARS.2 PAGE 14 OWNER'S MANUAL LCD FUNCTIONS TRANSMITTER LEARNING The system can lean up to 4 different remote transmitter codes. Each remote to be used MUST be programmed together during the same sequence. For security, when a new remote is programmed all previous remote’s that are not reprogrammed at this time will be deleted.

    ARS.2 PAGE 15 OWNER'S MANUAL LCD FUNCTIONS Clock Adjustment The clock must be set when the remote battery is removed or replaced. Follow the steps below to set or adjust the clock. Enter Clock Adjustment Mode, 12:45 1- Press and Hold the Lock and # Buttons for 3-5 seconds.

    ARS.2 PAGE 16 OWNER'S MANUAL LCD FUNCTIONS LCD 2way Remote Transmitter. 12:45 The 2way remote transmitter will give you audible and visual feedback of the preformed function, Locked, Unlocked, PAGER Trunk, Remote Start etc. The system will also send the VALET remote a page if the alarm is triggered.
  • Page 17 ARS.2 PAGE 17 OWNER'S MANUAL LCD FUNCTIONS Valet Mode- When this icon is on the system is in Valet Mode. VALET Timer Mode- This icon will turn on when the system is in Turbo Mode. TURBO Idle Mode- This icon will turn on when the system is in Idle Mode.

    ARS.2 PAGE 18 OWNER'S MANUAL LCD FUNCTIONS REMOTE PROGRAMMABLE FEATURES This feature allows the user to Program certain system features using the remote transmitter. Enter Program Mode, 12:15 1- Press and Hold the # Button for 3-5 seconds. 2- The remote will play the Program tune.

    ARS.2 PAGE 20 OWNER'S MANUAL LCD FUNCTIONS ALARM PAGER If the alarm is triggered the remote will begin to beep on and off (Vibrate in Vibration Mode) and the LCD screen with display the alarm trigger. The PAGER icon must be on for the remote to receive and display alarm triggers.

    ARS.2 PAGE 21 OWNER'S MANUAL LCD FUNCTIONS TIMER START MODE The system can be programmed to remote start at a preset time of the day. For safety reasons this feature must be set each time the vehicle is parked. The system must also be Locked/ Armed for the Timer Start Mode to activate.

    ARS.2 PAGE 22 OWNER'S MANUAL DIAGNOSTICS DIAGNOSTIC MODE Diagnostic Mode is a tool that can help trouble shoot a start fault. If the remote starter fails to start i.e.: the hood is open the park likes will flash a diagnostic code. i.e.: 5 flashes = start attempt with hood open.

    Soundstream. After an initial period of 2 years from the original date of installation, Soundstream reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to charge a warranty processing fee of $30.00 USD. Soundstream does not cover the cost for return freight on warranty items. This cost is the sole responsibility of the purchaser.
