SELECT CONTROLS
KEYBOARD PERCUSSION (DRUM KIT SELECTION) - When keyboard percussion has
been engaged, the entire keyboard will play the percussion voices from the selected
Drum kit. These voices are graphically depicted above the keys. There are ten
drum kits, based on the Standard Kit, that can be assigned. Kit 10 is a sound effects
kit. Please see the "Drum List" at the back of the manual for a complete listing.
The default setting is percussion off.
1.
Press the SELECT button four times, the indicator on the display screen will be in
the PERCUSS position. The current percussion status followed by "Percus" will
appear on the display screen.

Use the + button to turn the percussion mode on or the – button to turn the percus-
sion mode off.

To change the drum kit, press the MODE button. The current drum kit, followed by
the drum kits name, will appear on the display screen.

Use the + button to increase the drum kit number or the – button to decrease the
drum kit number from P-1 to P10. The number pad can also be used to directly
enter a value ranged from 01 to 10. Press the +, – buttons simultaneously to recover
the default setting of P-1, Standard.
5.
After five seconds the display screen will recover to the default voice screen.
