Remote control functions
Item Key Function
1 EJECT Eject a disc.
2 TV/DVD Toggle between the TV and DVD mode.
3 (On/Standby) Toggle between on and standby power states.
4 SLEEP Configure the sleep timer.
5 0–9 – Select a channel
– Select a teletext page
– Input the parental access password
6 DISPLAY View the TV or DVD operation status.
7 MUTE Mute the volume.
8 DVD MENU – In DVD mode, view the DVD menu screen.
– In JPEG CD mode, display image thumbnails.
TOP MENU – In DVD mode, select a DVD title.
– In JPEG CD mode, view the image file browser.
9 SUBTITLE Set the subtitle of a multi-language DVD.
10 INPUT Select the input source.
11 Pause the teletext display to 'hold' the current page in place.
12 AUDIO SELECT Change the soundtrack language of a multi-language DVD
or VCD.
13 VOL +/– Increase or decrease the system volume.
14 CH RTN – In TV mode, switch to the last channel selected prior to
the current one.
– In DVD mode, change the image viewing scale of a video
ZOOM
or image file.
15 Toggle the teletext display on or off.
16 ENTER – When using the TV menu, enable a menu option or view
a sub-menu screen.
– When in TV mode, display the channel list.

P (Programme) +/– – When in TV mode, select the TV channel.
18 PLAY Start or resume disc playback.
19 MENU – In TV mode, display the TV Main menu.
SETUP – In DVD mode, display the DVD Setup menu.
20 RETURN – When viewing a sub-directory in a file browser screen, go
back to the previous file directory.
– In DVD mode, when viewing the Setup menu, close the
menu screen.
21 EXIT/ – Close a menu screen.
CANCEL – In menu setting mode, disregard the last change made.
22 STOP Cancel disc playback.
23 SKIP Jump to the previous chapter/track.
24 REV – During playback, play in fast reverse direction.
– In teletext mode, reveal the answers to quiz questions.
25 SKIP – During playback, jump to the next chapter/track.
– In teletext mode, toggle the display size.
26 FF – During playback, play in fast forward direction.
– In teletext mode, view a subpage.
27 SLOW Slow motion playback in reverse direction.
28 SLOW Slow motion playback in forward direction.
29 PLAY MODE Select the playback mode.
30 PAUSE Temporarily stop disc playback.
31 MARKER Mark specific playback points in a DVD, VCD, or audio CD.
32 ANGLE – In DVD mode, change the scene angle (multi-angle DVD)
– In JPEG CD mode, rotate the image display.
33 JUMP Select the specific point where to start disc playback.
34 REPEAT A-B Repeat playback of a specific section between two set
points (A – B).
35 PIC SIZE – In TV/DVD mode, change the display's aspect ratio.
– In JPEG CD mode, adjust the thumbnail size.
Coloured buttons (red, In a teletext screen, view the page corresponding to the field
green, yellow, blue) with the same colour as the button you pressed.
