Serial Ports

The COM1 serial port is located
beside the VGA port. Refer to the
motherboard layout for the location of
the COM2 header. See the table on the
right for pin defi nitions.

Power SMB (I C)
The Power System Management Bus
( I2 C) connector (JPI2C1) monitors
the power suppply, fan and system
temperatures. See the table on the
right for pin defi nitions.

IPMB

A System Management Bus header
for the IPMI slot is located at JIPMB1.
Connect the appropriate cable here to
use the IPMB I2C connection on your
system.

Video Connector

A Vi d e o ( V G A 1 ) c o n n e c t o r i s
located below the COM Port on the
IO backplane. Another connector
(VGA2) is located on the serverboard
below the VGA1 connector. These
connectors are used to provide video
and CRT display.
