Section 7: Controls - White 969D Shown Operator's Manual

Step 6. Attach control cables to handle with pull ties located on the handle.
Step 7. Loosen the wing nut holding the rope guide to the upper handle.
Step 8. Squeeze the blade control handle against the upper handle and pull out starter rope slowly.
Step 9. Thread starter rope into rope guide.
Step 10. Tighten wing nut.
