Benefits
Dual-mode VDSL2/ADSL2+ functionalities
The ZyXEL VMG4380-B10A/VMG4325-B10A Series Wireless N VDSL2 Bonding Combo WAN Gigabit
Gateway supports dual-mode functionalities that enable service providers to support the
Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) or Packet Transfer Mode (PTM) on the same device. The Series
offers bi-directional, high-speed VDSL2 and VDSL connection with speeds of up to 100/45 Mbps in
PTM mode and 24/1 Mbps ADSL2+, ADSL2 or ADSL connection in the ATM mode. This powerful
feature enables service providers to support connections not only on the IP network but also on
legacy ATM networks without changing the CPE.
802.11n technology for extreme performance and coverage
The ZyXEL VMG4380-B10A/VMG4325-B10A Series features 802.11n technology that provides the
ultimate solution for the best speed and coverage possible. With data rates of up to 300 Mbps, the
Series provides stable, reliable wireless connections for high-speed data and multimedia delivery.
It eliminates dead zones and extends coverage by using the new IEEE 802.11n technology and is
backward compatible with any IEEE 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi certified device.
HPNA 3.1 with high-speed and robust home connectivity over coax
(VMG4380-B10A)
The ZyXEL VMG4380-B10A supports HPNA 3.1, the first of the new-generation home networking
standards developed for new "entertainment" applications such as the Internet Protocol Television
(IPTV) that require consistent high performance over the entire house.
TR-069 remote management
With TR-069 standard management specifications, the service providers are able to manage and
configure the client devices remotely without manual intervention of end-users. This unique
feature not only offers a true "plug-and-play" experience, but also reduces the complexity of
deployment and therefore saves operation and maintenance costs for service providers.
