  • Page 6 Point the Equinox night vision unit at the object you wish to observe, holding it horizontally with the ON button and Bushnell logo facing up. To focus, first rotate the diopter setting ring of the eyepiece (8) until the edges of the rectangular LCD screen appear as sharp as possible to your eye.
  • Page 7 USING THE IR ILLUmINATOR When using the unit under conditions of total darkness, turn on the IR illuminator (10) by pressing the IR button (2). When the IR illuminator is on, the red LED indicator (L2) will turn on. NOTE: The IR light source is invisible to the unaided eye, but can be seen by other people equipped with night vision devices (be aware of this if using the unit for surveillance or law enforcement applications).

  • Page 33 Das Equinox Nachtsichtgerät auf ein Objekt richten, das Sie beobachten möchten. Halten Sie es dabei waagerecht mit der ON-Taste und dem Bushnell-Logo nach oben. Fokussieren: Den Ring für den Dioptrienausgleich am Okular solange drehen(8), bis die Ränder der LCD-Anzeige die für Ihre Augen optimale Schärfe erreicht haben.   • Page 34 VERWENDUNG DES IR-ILLUmINATORS Wird das Gerät bei völliger Dunkelheit eingesetzt, durch Drücken der IR-Taste (10) den IR-Illuminator einschalten (2). Bei aktiviertem IR-Illuminator leuchtet die LED-Anzeige (L2) rot. Hinweis: Für das bloße Auge ist die IR-Lichtquelle unsichtbar, wird aber von anderen, ebenfalls mit einem Nachtsichtgerät ausgestatteten Personen erkannt (darauf ist besonders dann zu achten, wenn das Gerät zur Überwachung oder Strafverfolgung eingesetzt wird).
