    Earphones. For models E1c and E5c, the earphone with the BLUE marking fits in the left ear, while the earphone with the RED marking fits in the right ear. For model E2c, the bi-colored earphone fits in the right ear, while the earphone that is all one color fits in the left ear.

    2. E1c and E2c: wrap the earphone cord over the top and down the back of the ear. E5c: wrap the form-fitted wire over the top and down the back of the ear.

    Once tightly sealed, the sleeves hold the earphones firmly in place. The E1c and E5C come with yellow foam sleeves. The E2c earphones come with three sizes of orange foam sleeves to choose from —small, medium or large —for the best fit.

    E1c/E5c: clean the nozzles after each use using the supplied wax removal tool (see figure 1 on the following page). E2c: Routinely check the wax guard on the tips of the nozzles (see figure 2 on page 8). If the wax guards appear to be clogged, replace them.

  • Page 11 ENGLISH CUSTOM EAR MOLDS A Hearing Health Care Professional can make custom-fit ear molds for the E1c from im- pressions of your ears. Custom-made ear molds can provide better comfort and ambient noise isolation for some users. The E1c fits in a custom ear mold as shown in the following illustration.
