Throttle cable adjustment

CAUTION :

Be sure to adjust the engine idle speed first.
@
1. Loosen the locknut.
2. Turn the adjuster in or out until the proper throttle
lever free play is achieved.
Throttle lever free play a:
1.0–2.0 mm (0.04–0.08 in)
1 Locknut
2 Adjuster
3. Tighten the locknut.

Oil pump cable adjustment

CAUTION :

Be sure to adjust the throttle cable first.
@
1. Loosen the locknut.
2. Pull the oil pump outer cable and adjust the free play
between the adjuster and outer cable by turning the
adjuster in or out.
Pump cable free play a:
20.5 ± 1 mm (0.81 ± 0.04 in)
1 Locknut
2 Adjuster
3. Tighten the locknut.
