LOAD YOUR VEHICLE. Make sure
that the total weight of the cargo, rid-
er, passenger, and accessories
(cowling, saddlebags, etc. if ap-
proved for this model) does not ex-
ceed the maximum load of the
vehicle. Operation of an overloaded
vehicle could cause tire damage, an
accident, or even injury.

Always check the tires before operating
the motorcycle. If a tire tread shows
crosswise lines (minimum tread depth),
if the tire has a nail or glass fragments
in it, or if the sidewall is cracked, con-
tact a Yamaha dealer immediately and
have the tire replaced.
Minimum tire tread depth (front and
rear):
1.0 mm (0.04 in)
WARNING
It is dangerous to ride with a worn-
out tire. When a tire tread begins to
show lines, have a Yamaha dealer
replace the tire immediately. Brakes,
tires and related wheel parts re-
placement should also be left to a
Yamaha dealer.

This motorcycle is equipped with cast
wheels and tubeless tires.
