4. Remove the defective bulb by pushing it
in and turning it counter clockwise.
WARNING
POTENTIAL HAZARD
The headlight bulb is hot when it is on
and immediately after it is turned off.
WHAT CAN HAPPEN
You can be burned, or a fire could start
if the bulb touches something flamma-
ble.
HOW TO AVOID THE HAZARD
Wait for the bulb to cool before touching
or removing it.
5. Put a new bulb into position by pushing it
in and turning it clockwise.
6. Install the bulb holder by turning it clock-
wise.
7. Install the bulb holder cover.

Headlight beam adjustment

CAUTION:
It is advisable to have a Yamaha dealer
make this adjustment.
1. Vertical adjustment:
To raise the beam, turn the adjusting
screw clockwise.
To lower the beam, turn the screw coun-
terclockwise.
