CAUTION:
The following must be observed to
prevent a fire hazard or other
damages.
Use only unleaded gasoline.Use of
leaded gasoline will
unrepairable damage to the catalytic
converter.
Never park this scooter in an area
that would cause a fire hazard such
as grass or other materials that may
easily burn.
Do not allow the engine to idle for
very long.

Engine oil

Make sure the engine oil is at the
specified level. Add oil as necessary.
Recommended oil :

Yamalube 2-cycle oil or
air-cooled 2-stroke engine oil
(according to JASO FC or ISO
EG-C, EG-D standard)

1.3 L (1.14 Imp qt , 1.37 US qt)
NOTE:
Be sure the cap is properly seated
when replacing.

1. Starter lever (CHOKE)

Starter lever (CHOKE)
The starter lever is located on the left
handlebar.
Starting a cold engine requires a richer
fuel mixture. In such a case, turn the
EUU04201
starter lever to the left. After the engine
is warm, turn the lever to its original
position.
NOTE:
Refer to "Starting and warming up a
cold engine" for proper operation.
