Main switch

The main switch controls the ignition
and lighting systems. Its operation is
described below.
ON:
Electrical circuits are switched on and
the taillight comes on. The engine can
be started. The key cannot be removed
in this position.
NOTE:
When the engine is started, the
headlight and meter lights come on
automatically.

The oil warning light will come on. For
details of the oil warning light, refer to
"Oil warning light" on page 4-2.
OFF:
All electrical circuits are switched off.
The key can be removed in this posi-

LOCK:
The steering is locked in this position,

and all electrical circuits are switched
off. The key can be removed in this
position. Refer to "Steering lock" (page
4-9) for operation instructions.
NOTE:

Always turn the main switch to "OFF"
or "LOCK" and remove the key when
the scooter is unattended.

"HIGH BEAM" indicator light "
This indicator comes on when the
headlight high beam is used.
"TURN" indicator light "

This indicator flashes when the turn
switch is moved to the left or right.
