The spring preload can be adjusted by turning the
adjuster 1.

This shock absorber contains highly pressurized
nitrogen gas.
It could explode by improper handling, causing
injury or property damage.
G Do not tamper with or attempt to open the shock
absorber.
G Do not subject the shock absorber to an open
flame or other high heat sources, which could
cause it to explode.

Do not deform or damage the shock absorber in
any way.
G Do not dispose of a worn or damaged shock
absorber by yourself. Take the unit to a Yamaha
dealer.
