Other disc play features

This section explains how to use skip, resume, slow motion, and other playback
features.
Chapter skip

Whilst a disc is playing, press the 5 3 PRESET X or 2 4 PRESET
W button.
I Press the 2 4 PRESET W button to skip to the next chapter.
I Press the 5 3 PRESET X button to skip to the beginning of the
current chapter. Press the 5 3 PRESET X button again to skip to
the beginning of the previous chapter.
I You can also press the 5 /3 or 2 /4 button on the remote control
for the same operation.
Notes:
I Chapter information on some discs may not appear on the screen.
I You may not be able to use this function with certain discs.

To resume playback

Whilst the disc is playing, press the
you want to stop.
The unit stores the point.

To restart play, press the 0 button.
I Playback resumes from a point slightly before the point it was
stopped.
This resume operation does not work in the following cases:
I If you press the
button twice.
I If you press the
button during auto playback.
I If you remove a disc and then load another one.
Notes:
I After you press the
button to stop playback, you can press the
again and 0 button to resume playback from the beginning of the disc.
I This operation may not be performed with certain types of discs.
I Resume play may not be possible whilst the menu appears.
Slow-motion play

Whilst a disc is playing, press the SLOW ? button.
Three speeds are available. Each time the button is pressed, the speed
of slow-motion playback changes in the following sequence:

Press the 0 button to return to normal playback.
Notes:
I On some discs, the slow-motion play is disabled.
I Slow-motion play is disabled on audio CDs.
