Selecting a directory entry

Open the directory.
You have the following options:
u Use q to scroll through the
entries until the required name is
selected.
u Enter the first character of the
name, if necessary scroll to the
entry with the q key.

Using the directory, direct dialling keys and lists

Delete List
Delete all directory entries.
Send List
Send the complete list to another
handset (¢ page 31).
Sending the directory to
another handset
You can transfer directory entries
from other handsets to your new
handset – even entries from old
handsets.
Prerequisites:
u The sending and receiving hand-
sets must both be registered to
the same base.
u The other handset and the base
can send and receive directory
entries.

of the receiving handset) ¤
A successful transfer is confirmed by
a message and confirmation tone
on the receiving handset.
Adding a displayed number to
the directory
You can copy numbers displayed in
a list, e.g., the call list or redial list, to
the directory.
A number is displayed.
