Menu
and select Settings,
Display
settings, and
timeout. Select the length of time
after which the digital clock display
will be activated. The timeout can
vary from 5 seconds to 60 minutes.
Note that the screen saver overrides
all graphics and texts that are on the
display in standby mode.

■ Accessory settings

The accessory settings menu is only
shown if the phone is or has been
connected to one of the following
accessories: headsets HDC-5 or
HDE-2, loopset LPS-3, or handsfree
car kits PPH-1 or CARK 134.
Press Menu, select
Accessory
settings. Select Headset,
Handsfree
or Loopset.
• Select
Default profile
the profile you want to
automatically activate when you
connect the selected accessory.
You can select another profile
while the accessory is connected.
• Select
Automatic answer
the phone to automatically
answer an incoming call after
five seconds. If the

PIN code request

every time the phone is switched
on. Some SIM cards do not allow
the PIN code request to be turned
off.
