In addition, there is a programme type, ALARM!, used for exceptional emergency
announcements. You can't search for this, but the tuner will switch automatically to
any station that's broadcasting this RDS signal.
You have access to three kinds of RDS information, and can freely switch between
them.

Tune into an FM radio station.
Only FM stations broadcast RDS data, so you must be listening to a station in
the FM band to display any RDS information.
