Making the connections

Conserving power
The system consumes approximately 0.3 W when it is in
standby mode. Disconnect the power supply if you do not
use the system.
Some settings will be lost after you disconnect the system.
You have to set them again.

Connect the speakers.

Connect the AM loop antenna.
Stand the antenna up on its base until it clicks.

Be careful not to cross (short-
circuit) or reverse the polarity of
the speaker wires as doing so
may damage the speakers.

Connect the FM indoor antenna.
Place the antenna where reception is best.
Connect the FM outdoor antenna
For the United Kingdom
Use the antenna plug
adaptor (supplied).
Note:
• If the radio reception is poor, use optional outdoor
antenna. This antenna should be installed by a
competent technician.
• Disconnect the outdoor antenna when the unit is not
in use.
• Do not use the outdoor antenna during a lightning
storm.
• Disconnect the FM indoor antenna.

Connect the AC mains lead.

READ THE CAUTION FOR AC MAINS LEAD
BEFORE CONNECTION.
Use the supplied AC mains lead with this system only.
Do not use an AC mains lead from other equipment.
