LISTENING TO MUSIC

Listening to CDs

Playback begins automatically once
a CD is loaded. The loaded CD will
be played repeatedly until you stop
it. It can also be set for repeated
playback of a single track or random
playback.

Starting playback
The CD/Receiver System repeatedly plays a CD
from start to end.

Load a CD into the CD/receiver.
Press where it says "PUSH OPEN" on the top
of the CD/receiver to open the cover.
With the label (printed) side of the CD facing
upward, set the CD down so that the center
hole clicks onto the knob. After you close
the cover, the system will start playing the
CD automatically.
To start a CD that was loaded previously
Press the 38 button.

Use the VOL + / – buttons to adjust the
volume level.
To switch to CD from another sound source
Press the SOURCE button repeatedly until "CD" appears
in the display panel. Pressing this button cycles through
the following settings.
=CD = MD* = FM = AM = AUX
* Available only if the MD recorder (sold separately) is
connected to this system.
If the cover is opened during playback
The CD is automatically stopped. Do not touch the CD
until it has stopped spinning on its own.
