  • Page 10 First-time Operation Position the cover so that the edge of the cover is aligned with the lines of the computer. Then, while lightly pressing down on the center of the cover (with suppressing the Latches back of the computer by one hand), gently slide the cover until it snaps into place. CAUTION Be careful not to get your fingers caught in the cover.

Set a floppy disk and make sure it is not in the write-protected state, then select [Start] - [Programs] - [Panasonic] - [Create BACKUP DISK] and follow the on-screen instructions. Place a label identifying the contents on each disk.

    Touch Pad (Basic Operation) Work Surface Use the touch pad to move the cursor on the display and perform normal computer operations. For instructions on how to operate, refer to "Touch Pad (Advanced)". NOTE The touch pad has been designed to work only when a finger is used. Therefore, do not use any implement on the touch pad.
