Keep the brush in your hair until the hair is warm to the touch.

Switch the appliance off and remove the brush from your hair by
pressing the bristle retraction knob and turning it in the direction
of the arrows (fig. 5).

Let the curls cool down before combing, brushing or finger-
combing the hair to finish your style.

When you have finished curling, switch the appliance off and
remove the brush (see chapter 'Preparing for use').
Shaping your hair

Snap the shaping brush onto the appliance (see chapter 'Preparing
for use').

Insert the brush pins into your hair until they touch your scalp.

Switch the appliance on by selecting setting I or II.

Lift a lock of hair at the roots on the sides of your head and
move the brush along the lock from root to tip.This technique
will tame stray ends and help promote shine and softness.

When you have finished shaping, switch the appliance off and
remove the brush (see chapter 'Preparing for use').
Cleaning

Always unplug the appliance before cleaning it.
Never rinse the appliance with water.

Put the appliance in a safe place and let it cool down.
3
Clean the appliance with a small brush or a dry cloth.
