Carousel
The loop of icons on your display which provides access to the menu
of your choice.
Date and time
Displayed when in the idle mode. To set the date and time,
see «Settings» page 32.
Indicators
Alarm clock
Indicates that the alarm clock function is activated.
Silent
Indicates that the ringer is turned off; the phone will not ring,
but can still receive calls.
Keypad lock
The keypad is in the lock mode.
Unconditional call forward
Indicates that the unconditional
to a specific number function is activated.
Permanent icons
Found above the various screens, the follo-
wing «hard» icons are visible if actived.
b Battery charge
If the first bar is darkened, the battery
is charged at 25%. Each individual bar
represents approximately 25% of the
maximum charge.

SMS Messages
- Icon only: You have received a new
message.
- Flashing icon: The message memory
on your SIM card is full and cannot
hold any more messages. Delete one
or more messages to free up memory.
Call forward
Voice mail
Indicates that you have received at
least one new voice mail, network
dependent feature.

Roaming
When this icon appears it indicates
that you are phoning on a network
other than the one you have your sub-
scription with.
Home Zone
This icon is displayed if you are currently
phoning within your home zone, when
this feature is provided by your network.

Network
The phone is registered with a net-
work; when it is blinking the phone is
trying to connect.

Reception quality
If four bars are displayed, optimum net-
work reception quality can be expected.
