Task Manager

The Task Manager program is used to monitor the status of the memory usage of the programs
installed in ROM of your Smartphone and also allows you to stop the program(s).
When you turn on the Smartphone and open the programs installed in ROM, all these
programs reside in the background, taking up RAM space, even when you have exited and
switched to another program. Usually, your Smartphone will automatically allocate the
memory. In case insufficient memory problem occurs, you can use Task Manager to stop the
program(s) for releasing some memory space. Follow this procedure to stop the program(s):
1. On the Home screen, press the Start soft key, select Task Man.
2. The list of the opened programs will be displayed on the screen. Press the Navigation stick
to select the program that you want to stop. Then press the Stop soft key.
3. Press the Menu soft key and select Hide to exit and return to the previous screen. The
Task Manager program will still monitor in the background.
N O T E
Task Manager monitors the programs in ROM (such as core programs of Windows Mobile™ for
Smartphone, Phone Camera, and Photo ID). It does not monitor programs installed by you
(such as Phone Reader and Mobile Assistant).
