Customizing Windows Media Settings

You can customize the appearance and functionality of Windows Media Player using the
Options command.
To access the Options menu:
1. If you are not on the Playback screen, press the Back key until you are.

This page has three setting items:
Show time as
Select Elapsed (default) to show how much time has elapsed
since you started playing the file or Remaining to show how
much time is remaining until the file ends.
Pause playback while using another program
Check this box if you want the function. Clear this box (default)
if you want files to continue to play in the background when you
use other programs.
Resume playback after a phone call
Check this box (default) if you want the function. Clear this box
if you don't want the playback to automatically resume after you
complete your call.
This page has two setting items:
Play video in full screen
Select Never (default) to play videos inside the video window,
Only when oversized to play only oversized video in full
screen, or Always to always play in full screen. When a video
plays in full screen, the playback controls are hidden. (To
override the Never and Only when oversized options when
playing a video, on the Playback screen, press the * key.)
Shrink to fit window
Check this box (default) to scale the video down to fit the video
window. Clear this box if you don't want the function, meaning a
portion of the image will not be visible when you play a video
that is larger than the video window
NOTE: Oversized video files are larger than the video area of a skin
(typically, 160 × 120 pixels).
