How do I preview a route?

Route demonstration allows you to:
Preview a route.
Plan and view a route without a GPS fix, such as when you are inside a building.
The following steps will show you how to preview a route.
1. Select a departure point.
Note: If you have a GPS fix, you do not need to select a departure point unless you want the demonstrated route to start
elsewhere.
a)
The Create a Route screen will display.
b) Tap From. The Leaving from... screen will display.
c) Tap Find a Place, then use the Address Wizard to find your departure point.
2. Select a destination point using the GO or FIND address wizards, the MY PLACES menu or the Explore
map.
3. Your route is calculated and the Overview screen will display.
4. Tap Route Simulation. The Map screen will display the calculated route in route simulation mode.
5. Complete the following:
If you want to ...
increase the speed of the simulation
decrease the speed of the simulation
pause/resume the simulation
stop the simulation
Then ...
tap .
tap .
tap to pause the simulation.
tap to resume the simulation.
tap to exit the simulation mode and the Overview screen will display.
