Note: Make sure that your computer is connected to the Internet.
Clicking the Mio Online button at the top right will launch your default web browser and display the company's
official website.
Then ...
click the Device tab and change the following preferences for your Mio:
Device name (for display in MioMore Desktop)
Language
Voice
Click Save to save your changes.
click the Desktop tab and select the desired option in the Desktop Language
section.
click the Desktop tab and select the Check for updates automatically checkbox.
When you select this option, every time you access MioMore Desktop, the latest
service packs and bug fixes (if available) are downloaded from the Mio server and
applied to your Mio.
Click Save to save your changes.
Note: Updating software is different from upgrading software. To upgrade
MioMore Desktop, you must first purchase a new version of MioMore Desktop
from a retailer, then install it on your Mio.
click the Desktop tab and select the desired option in the Storage section.
Click Save to save your changes.
click the Desktop tab and specify the default folder for each data type, then click
Change.
Click Save to save your changes.
