Repacking
Transporting the
This unit is not designed to be portable, so please take care when transporting it.
—Use the original carton and all of the original packing materials.
—Improper repacking of the unit may result in a service charge to repair the unit or in a cleaning charge to
remove spilled toner.
—Because the unit uses dry toner, extreme care must be taken when handling. The unit should be handled in
the upright position until the unit is repacked completely.
If you plan to move the unit from one location to another, or if you want to store it, follow the steps below.

Disconnect the mains lead, printer cable, telephone
line cord, handset and handset cord.

Close the paper stacker and the paper tray
extender.
Remove the paper tray by (A) slightly lifting and
(B) pulling it out of the unit.

Spread a dropcloth or newspaper under the unit to
keep the work area clean.
