Measuring the Distance between Two Points
Using the Distance Measurement tool, you can measure the distance between
two points on the map.
To measure the distance between two points on the map:
1. On the map select the Distance Measurement tool, and move the mouse
to the position on the map from which you want to measure the distance
to another point.
2. From that point drag the mouse to the required position. While you are
dragging the mouse the distance from the original point is indicated on
the map, as shown in the following image.
In the image above you can see that the measured distance is 8.4 km.
