• The PTZ settings are dependant on the camera protocol. For more information see
the PTZ camera manufacturer's manual.
4.8.2 Event
Notifies the event server in the case of an emergency situation or event. Also sends an event
notification to the specified email address.
• Event Server
Specify the event server as well as the port number for communication. Press [Check] to see if the
DVR is connected.
• Event Type
There are 5 event types: motion, alarm, video loss, power on, & system error. Select the desired
event type(s) to transmit to the server. The events can be customized to be active during set periods.
• Event Notification to E-Mail
Enables information about the event to be sent to the specified email address. Click [Setup] to
configure the sender/receiver of the emails.
