3.1 System Behavior

• When the unit is powered the booting screen in Fig 3-1 should appear.
• System initialization will commence shortly after the booting screen appears.
• The live-screen will appear directly following the system initialization.
• It takes ~5 sec before the live-feed will appear.
• The system will be initialized with the previous system settings. If recording was scheduled, it
will begin immediately.

• If a new HDD was installed, the live-feed will take a bit longer to appear due to
the new HDD initialization.
• If the live-screen does not appear, check the connects to and from the unit
and try again. If the problem persists, contact your retailer.
