FUNCTION

LOCAL

Local is the MIDI Channel message that sets whether your keyboard is going to trigger its internal
sounds (Local ON) or not (Local OFF). Normally, playing on the keyboard generates sound while it
sends MIDI messages via the MIDI connector or USB. This mode is called Local On. You can mute the
piano sounds while still sending out the MIDI messages. This mode is called Local Off. Turn Local on
and off in the Function menu..

Press the PAGE ▲ or the PAGE ▼ buttons until the "Local" menu appears.

Press the +/YES button to access the Local menu and the current setting will be shown.

Use the +/YES button to turn Local on and the –/NO button to turn Local Off. The default setting is
Local On.

Press the FUNCTION button again to set the option and exit the function setting mode.

♫Please note, if the Local is off there will be no sound from your keyboard.

VOCAL GRADE

The Play Along Songs music teacher has an optional vocal grading of your performance.
Turn the Vocal Grade on and off in the Function menu.

Press the PAGE ▲ or the PAGE ▼ buttons until the "Vocal Grade" menu appears

Press the +/YES button to access the Vocal Grade menu and the current setting will be shown. .

Use the +/YES button to turn Vocal Grade on and the –/NO button to turn Vocal Grade Off. The default
setting is Vocal Grade On.

Press the FUNCTION button again to set the option and exit the function setting mode.

RESET

You can Reset your piano to the initial factory settings. Please be aware that this will erase all saved
data from the User buttons, the Registration memory banks and the User song banks and all the
changed settings from the Function menu.
Reset the piano in the Function menu.

Press the PAGE ▲ or the PAGE ▼ buttons until the "Reset" menu appears.

Press the +/YES button to turn the Reset function on. This is the only option. Unlike the other Function
menus pressing the +/YES button will immediately reset the piano. The piano will revert to the default
factory settings. All stored memory will be erased.

Press the FUNCTION button again to exit the Function menu.

♫Please note, that Reset will erase all saved data from the User buttons, the Registration memory
banks and the User songs and settings from the Function menu.
♪Please also note, pressing the +/YES button will immediately reset the piano. Do not enter the Func-
tion Reset sub-menu if you do not want to reset your piano.
