- Page 5 PIANO ASSEMBLY (CON’T) ADJUSTING THE PEDAL FEET 7. With your piano placed in its final position, locate the two pedal feet on the bottom of the lyre as shown in the picture below. Turn each foot counter-clockwise until they make firm contact with the floor surface. If you relocate the piano in the future, be sure to raise the pedal feet back up by turning them clockwise pri- or to doing so to avoid damage to the pedal feet and lyre assembly.
