User Manual Thank you for choosing the Cashmaster Omega 230 money counter. The Omega 230 is an invaluable, easy to use, and highly accurate money counting device. The Omega 230 is designed to manage your cash intelligently, with accuracy and efficiency. With the Omega 230 you will speed up cash counting and reconciliation up to six times faster than by hand.

Do not spill any liquids on device. If liquid is spilled on device, disconnect the power cable and contact your supplier. Do not leave any objects on the Cashmaster or hod when not in use. Charging Charging takes approximately 3 hours.
Push down VERY FIRMLY until you hear a click To fully charge the battery, plug the Cashmaster machine into the mains. The LED on the front will show GREEN (for one second) then RED. LED indicates that the battery is charging. The charging process can take up to three hours.

Cashmaster Key Identification Key Idendification The ON/OFF key. Press once to switch machine on. Press and hold down to switch machine off. The PACKAGED NOTE key. Push to select packaged notes and to toggle between loose / bundled/ sleeved notes.
Cashmaster Key Identification Fast Keys Fast key functions are controls that allow you to quickly access settings within the Cashmaster. More information is available on further pages. To perform the fast key functions press both keys simultaneously. Auto add Float On/Off...
Getting Started What you can count Notes Loose - for counting loose notes. Loose notes are counted by placing up to 30 notes at any one time. Continue to add notes of the same denomination in quantities of up to 30, until all notes from the selected denomination have been counted.

Switching on Press When the Cashmaster is initially switched on, it will ask for a store number. This number can be entered by using the numerical keys (max. 5 digits). Thereafter, the number will be stored in the memory of the machine, and will appear on any printouts from the machine.

Getting Started Setting the time and date The clock facility on the Cashmaster must be set as follows when you receive the machine. From count screen: Press and hold the key and press the coin key. Set Time Press the key to view the time set.

Getting Started Setting Float Mode This function allows you to set the Float value on the Cashmaster. (This can be changed at a later date) Press and note . The screen will then show: Bank 100.00 Use the numeric keypad to key in the Float value required.

Getting Started Switching Auto-Add On/Off Auto add is a feature that allows the Cashmaster to automatically add the value of any note/coin amount (which is placed on the hod) to the total amount. If Auto-Add is on, the value displayed will be automatically added to the totals whenever the cash is placed on the hod.

Getting Started Switching Scroll On/Off Auto Scroll feature allows the Cashmaster to automatically advance to the next denomination when the value has been added to the total and the money is removed from the hod If Auto-Scroll is on, once cash is removed from the hod the denomination will automatically be advanced.

Bags Total Place a bag of coins on the hod. If the bag is full the Cashmaster recognises the weight then the denomination, together with the value, is shown on the display. For typical package quantities see page 27. For certain denominations of bags the display will...

All Cashmaster machines are calibrated at the factory to the average note weights of all UK currency. As note weights vary slightly depending on age and usage, the following should be completed on receipt of your new machine.

Storing/Viewing Tills To start/save a new till, press the key (while in count mode). Your current till has now been saved, enter cashier number to begin a new till. To view a stored till press the key (while in count mode). Then press again at “cashier no.”...

Totalling, Clearing & Printing Adding To add a value, currently on the display, to the total press the key. Auto Adding/Scrolling For auto adding and auto scrolling see page14 and 15. Subtracting To subtract the last value added to the total, press the key while the value is still being displayed and the money is still on the machine.
To enter grams mode : Press at the same time. The display will show : If the cashmaster drifts from 0.0g when the hod is empty, press to reset scale to zero. To exit grams mode and return to normal operation : Press again.
Package applied is suspect. User must split Packaged * Suspect * package and count in loose note mode. Misc Check that the Cashmaster is placed on a High vibration level surface and away from draughts (e.g. air lockout conditioning or fan).
