Troubleshooting
Problem
Print color is not accurate.

Description or Cause
The current settings are
not correct.
The color profile is out of
date.
Variability in media or
environment.
The printer driver or
imaging application is not
properly using the color
profile supplied for the
KODAK 6850 Printer.
Possible Solution
Reset the printer to factory defaults.
1. Check for a new color profile at
www.kodak.com/go/6850.
2. Select:
• the Standalone Printer tab
• the Technical Resources link for the
6850 Printer
Calibrate the printer. See
Calibrating the Printer" on page
Review the Profile Read me and use the
test profile to verify the settings are
correctly addressing the color profile.
