WARNING:
Danger of injury! Check appliance and power cord before
each use. A damaged appliance must never be used.
ATTENTION:
Check the requirements of your flooring before using the
vacuum cleaner. Follow the recommendations of the
flooring manufacturers.
ATTENTION:
Use the vacuum cleaner only when you have made sure
that all filters are properly in place and no openings are
clogged. The filters must be dry and intact. Otherwise,
the appliance might be damaged.
1. Fit on the desired nozzle, Zchapter 2.3, "Using other
nozzles (accessories)"
2. Pull out the cord by the plug to the yellow mark
(Fig. 14/1).
WARNING:
Danger of electric shock! It the red mark (Fig. 14/2) is vis-
ible, retract the cord using the cord retraction button back
(Fig. 15/3) to the yellow mark (Fig. 14/1). Otherwise, the
power cord may be damaged.
3. Switch on the appliance with the on/off switch
(Fig. 15/2).
4. Set the nozzle switch to "carpet" or "hard floor" accord-
ing to the floor covering (Fig. 16) to be cleaned:
- Hard floor (Fig. 16/A)

Laminate, tile, PVC, etc.
- Carpet (Fig. 16/B)
Deep and short-pile carpets, rugs, runners, etc.
5. When working with the vacuum cleaner, pull it after you
like a sleigh.

Danger of falling! Especially when cleaning stairs take
care that you always stand above the appliance.
