MAINTENANCE
Certain cleaning agents and solvents damage
plastic parts. Some of these are: gasoline,
carbon tetrachloride, chlorinated cleaning
solvents, ammonia and household cleaners
containing ammonia. Do not use any of these to
clean the saw.
Blades become dull even when cutting regular
lumber. A sure sign of a dull blade is the need to
force the saw forward instead of guiding it while
making a cut. Take the blade to a service center
for sharpening.
Keep the cooling vents on the motor housing
clean and unobstructed at all times. Blow out
any dust and dirt at regular intervals.
Worn carbon brushes are to be replaced only by
a specialist workshop.
