Connecting 2 DX-TL5000 together (CASCADE)

Up to 16 DX-TL5000's can be connected together to create a 256 camera system (see diagram page 32)

Enter the System Menu:

Press the

SET UP

Button on the front of the DVR

From the User Menu screen (000 000 000), press the D

button twice to display the

SYSTEM MENU (300 000 000).

Press 2

RS-485 Cascade Setting.

Press E

Return,

then E

Exit twice

to exit SET UP.

(300 000 000) Press 1

RS485 Cascade Connection Settings

(312 000 000) Press 1

Standalone: Does not perform the cascade function.

Cascade: Performs the cascade function.

CASCADE Settings – This feature is used to control more

than one DVR from a Master DVR.

Up to 16 DVR's can be cascaded together.

From the master DVR you can view video and control any

DVR down the chain.

Select the CASCADE connection mode

Select the DVR address, Slaves are from

ID:01 to 16.
