1. Start y our e ngine a nd l et i t w arm u p t o g et t he o il w arm a nd t hinner. R emove
the o il c ap/dipstick ( item 6 i n C ontrols a nd F eatures S ection) b y t urning c ounter
clockwise. R emove t he o il d rain p lug ( item 6 i n C ontrols a nd F eatures) l ocated
below t he o il c ap/dipstick u tilizing t he a ppropriate t ools.

2. Drain t he e ngine o il i nto a n a pproved r eceptacle a nd d iscard i n a ccordance w ith
all F ederal a nd S tate R egulations. N ever d ump t he u sed e ngine o il o n t he g round
or i nto d rains, o nly d iscard i n a n a pproved m anner. C heck w ith y our l ocal
authorities t o d etermine t he r egulations i n y our a rea.

dipstick t o c heck t he o il l evel a nd o nly f ill t o t he f ull m ark o n t he d ipstick. N ever
overfill t he e ngine a s t his c an c ause d amage t o t he u nit a nd v oid w arranty.
