Attaching Top Cover

Components and Hardware Needed:
Drum Sander ..................................................... 1
Top Cover .......................................................... 1
To attach the top cover to the drum sander:
1.
Remove the four button head cap screws and
washers shown in the rear view of Figure 6.
2.
Remove the two button head cap screws and
washers shown in the front view of Figure
6.

3.
Place the top cover on the sander and attach
the hinges with the screws and washers
removed in Step 1.
4. Secure the front of the top cover with the
two button head cap screws and washers
removed in Step 2.

Control Panel ..................................................... 1
To mount the control panel:
1.
Remove the bolts, lock washers, and flat
washers shown in Figure 7.

2. Lift the control panel into place and secure it
with the bolts, lock washers, and flat washers
removed in Step 1.
3.
Attach the brace from the control panel to the
sander as shown in Figure 8.
