The label of the USB720 Modem must be facing up. • The USB720 Modem is powered as soon as you connect it to the Type A USB port of your computing device. Although the modem is powered, it does not automatically connect to the Internet. -

Using the USB Modem Extension Cable The USB720 Modem package includes an extension USB Y-shaped cable. Although the cable is not required for use with your USB720 Modem, it offers increased performance of your USB720 Modem under certain operating conditions. -

1. Simply raise the flip-up antenna 90 degrees to locate the External Antenna Connector jack on the USB720 Modem. 2. Remove the rubber protector to expose the External Antenna Connector. (Keep the rubber protector in a safe place for future use in order to protect the External Antenna Connector from debris when not in use). -
