1. Turn off the printer.
2. Remove the power cord, and the
interface cables if they are connected.
3. Using a small Phillips-head screw-
driver, remove the two screws hold-
ing the controller board, and slide the
controller board out of the printer.
4. Place the controller board on a flat
surface.
5. Remove the hard disk from its pro-
tective bag, being careful not to bend
the pins.
6. Align the lower set of pins on the
hard drive with the connector on the
controller board. Make sure the top
four pins are not aligned with the
connector, and firmly seat the hard
drive in the connector.
