Note 2. Water heating temperature is limited by the appliance's heating effect: when water consumption is high, especially in
winter time, water at the appliance's outlet might have insufficient temperature even at maximal gas consumption. In this case in or-
der to increase water temperature it is necessary to reduce water flow going through the appliance.
Water temperature by the inlet into the appliance is shown on the two-digit digital display, installed on the decorative panel on
the appliance's casing.
Note 3. At low water consumption (position of knob 1 «Minimal consumption») and at high gas consumption (position of knob
2 «Maximal consumption») water overheating is possible in the heat exchanger, and consequently the burner may be switched off by
the automatic control system of appliance. To switch the appliance on again, it is necessary to close the hot water tap, and then open
it again. In order to avoid water overheating it is necessary to reduce gas consumption by the knob 2 or to increase water flow
through the appliance by means of the knob 1 or hot water tap.
Water overheating in the heat exchanger causes the appearance of noise during the appliance's operating and causes fast scale
deposit appearance in the heat exchanger's pipes and narrowing of their flow sections, what in some time will lead to the appliance's
operation efficiency reduction and weakening of hot water jet. So in order to reduce the appliance's output water temperature it is not
recommended, especially for hard water, to use a mixing vessel, adding cold water but to use the above listed methods. In order to
reduce intensive scale deposit appearance, it is recommended not to allow water heating up to the temperature higher than 60
the appliance's outlet.
3.3.

Switching the appliance off

When you finish using the appliance (at night time, not being at home etc.) it is necessary to switch it off, following the follow-
ing sequence:
a) Close the hot water tap (s);
b) Close the stop gas valve by the appliance's inlet;
c) Close the cold water stop valve by the appliance's inlet.
In case of hard water, in order to reduce scale deposit appearance it is recommended to close the hot water tap after cold water
starts coming out of it. If the tap was closed, it is recommended to open it and drain hot water until cold water appears.
In order to switch the appliance off, it is enough to stop water flow through it, closing all hot water taps, after that it is necessary
to make sure that the burner's flame has completely expired.
CAUTION! If after closing all hot water taps the main burner is still on, it is necessary to immediately block gas supply
by means of the gas stop valve of the appliance's inlet. Then it is necessary to address to the special service organization for
appliance's repair.
3.4.

Replacing the appliance's power elements

3.4.1. If power elements are discharged, it is necessary to install new power elements (2
pcs) of typical size D into the battery section 14 (see Scheme 14), in accordance with the elec-
tric polarity indicated on the inner side of the section's cover. The indicator of elements dis-
charge can be the lack or significant weakness of the spark discharges between the plug and
burner after water starts flowing through the appliance (with water consumption at least 2,5
l/min). For opening the cover of the battery section it is necessary to turn the cover's knob to
the position «ON». In order to remove discharged power elements it is necessary to bend the
fixing clamps (shown by the arrows on the scheme 6)
It is recommended to install alkaline power elements type LR20 with high output ratio
which ensure more durable operation of the appliance. Installation of low-quality power ele-
ments or elements with low energy output ratio may lead to their quick discharge or the appli-
ance's loss of function. After installation the power elements it is necessary to close the sec-
tion's cover and turn the cover's knob to the position «ОFF».
3.4.2. The replacement of power elements must be done on the appliance which is
switched off.
3.5.

Protection from freezing

If after switching the appliance off water freezing in it is possible, it is necessary to drain the water out of it as follows:
a) Close the gas stop valve and cold water stop valve by the appliance's inlet;
b) Open the hot water tap;
c) Turn the water consumption regulating knob into the position "Maximal consumption", turn out the plug 20 (scheme 12, 14)
let water leak into a tank and put the plug back up to the stop;
d) Close the hot water tap.

3.6. Actions in emergency situations

In case of emergency situation during the appliance's operation it is necessary to:
a) Close the gas stop valve by the appliance's inlet;
b) Close the cold water stop valve by the appliance's inlet (in case of water leakage);
c) Call a specialized service organization for appliance's repair.
ATTENTION! If the appliance is switched off by the draught sensor (thermo relay 16, scheme 12, 14) it is necessary to
close the hot water tap and ventilate the premise. Restarting of the appliance will be possible after the thermo relay cools
down (within 1-2 minutes). In case of the appliance's repeated switching off by the draught sensor it is necessary to address to
the specialized service organization for gas removal system failure elimination. Disconnecting the draught sensor or its incom-
petent handling is unacceptable and may lead to sweetdamp poisoning.
