8. When Destinator has been successfully installed, the Successful Installation message box
appears.

Transferring a Map onto the SD Memory Card

Connect the device to your PC.

Select the required map (Be aware of the size of your memory card). Click Change (bottom right) and

select Storage Card.
Click Install/Remove Maps on the toolbar. A Map Loading Indicator is shown.

A confirmation message appears when the map has been installed.

Console Toolbar

The following options are available from the MioMap Console Toolbar:
Mio Destinator User Manual
This button lets you install the Destinator Navigation System to your device.
This button lets you install or remove a map. For more information, see "Installing
a Map" on page 40.
This button lets you customize an installed map. For more information, see "Map
Cutter Screen Interface" on page 41.
This button lets you download a list of your favorite locations from your PC to the
selected My Favorites group on your device. For more information, see "Importing
a Favorite" on page 44.
This button lets you configure the Destinator Navigation System so street names
are included in the voice prompts.
This button lets you activate your Destinator Navigation System through an
automated process.
This button lets you backup your Favorites, Route Groups, or My Destinator
settings. When you click the Backup button, the Favorites folders, MPR, and the
Destinator.ini file are copied to: [X]:\Destinatorapps\Backup
[X] represents the drive letter where Destinator is located on the user's PC.
If these folders already exist on the PC, the following message appears:
Warning, an older backup exists on this computer. Overwrite?
