    Battery Backup Installation In the event that the AC power cord is disconnected or a power failure or other interruption occurs, the Battery Backup will maintain clock and alarm settings for the life of the battery. During any interruptions the clock display will be blank, but time and alarm settings will be saved and automatically restored when AC power is again active.

    Setting Clock Time and Alarm Time Setting Clock Time 1. Press and hold the Time Set Button while pressing the Hour Button until the current hour is displayed. Remember to set the correct AM or PM setting. A small dot in the upper- left-hand corner of the display is the PM Indicator.

    Operating the Alarm and Snooze Features 1. Set the alarm time as indicated in Setting Alarm Time. 2. Set the Alarm Mode Switch to “On.” The Alarm Indicator will appear in the lower-left-hand corner of the clock display, indicating that the alarm has been set and will sound at the time selected.
