Door Locks

Auto Door Locking/Unlocking

Your vehicle has customizable
settings for the doors and the
tailgate to automatically lock and
unlock. Make all settings before you
start driving.
Auto Door Locking
The auto door locking feature has
three possible settings:
The doors and the tailgate lock
when the vehicle speed reaches
9 mph (15 km/h).
This is the factory setting.
The auto door locking is
deactivated all the time.
The doors and the tailgate lock
whenever you move the shift lever
out of the Park position.

To activate an auto door lock mode:
Locks all doors and tailgate when the
shift lever is moved out of park (P).
1. Make sure the shift lever is in
Park (P), and close the driver's
door.
2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON
(II) position.
3. Set the parking brake.
3. Push and hold the front of the
master door lock switch on the
driver's door. You will hear a
clicking sound, and after about 5
seconds, you will hear another
clicking sound.
Release the switch and then,

within 5 seconds, turn the ignition
switch to the LOCK (0) position.
