When the sliding door window
opened more than about 15 cm (6 in.),
the sliding door will stop at half-
opened position. Close the window and
then operate the sliding door.
CAUTION
Do not leave the sliding door at half-
opened position. If the vehicle is
stopped on a downward slope, it may
move and cause an unexpected injury.

Open the sliding door fully and move
the lock lever to the "LOCK" position
as shown on the label. Then close the
sliding door.
If the child- protector is locked, you cannot
open the sliding door from the inside. We
recommend using this feature whenever
small children are in the vehicle.

("SLIDE DOOR OFF" switch)
On Off
This switch is used to turn on and off
the power sliding door system. In order
to operate the power sliding door, the
"SLIDE DOOR OFF" switch on the in-
strument panel must be pushed out.
(The orange line on the top of the
switch indicates that the power sliding
door system is on.) To disable the pow-
er sliding door feature, push in the
switch.
