Important information

Important changes were made to this
device after the accompanying operat-
ing instructions went to press. These
changes were introduced to make the
unit even easier to operate. Please read
this additional sheet and the operating
instructions carefully before using the
unit for the first time, and keep them in
a safe place!
DAB mode
The DAB radiotext function is activated
at the factory by default. Since display-
ing radiotexts can distract you from the
current road and traffic situation, we ask
you to deactivate the "DAB radiotext"
function or to only use it whilst the vehi-
cle is stationary. Please refer to page
55 of the operating instructions for in-
formation on how to deactivate this func-
tion.
Traffic information
DAB-FM traffic information
source (P. 62)
In order to simplify operation of the unit,
the function that allows the user to
switch traffic information sources has
been removed from the menu. The de-
vice always automatically switches to
an incoming traffic announcement be-
ing broadcast via DAB (in DAB mode)
or FM (in radio mode). In AUX, Com-
pact Drive MP3, MMC, CD and CD
changer mode, traffic announcements
from the source that was active last (ei-
ther DAB or radio) will be played.
